| Are you interested in pursuing a college degree in the United States? Do you prefer a small college where you'll get to know your professors and fellow students? Are you looking for a high-quality academic program with a comfortable atmosphere? If so, Muskingum College may be the perfect place for you. If you are academically qualified and have a TOEFL score of at least 400, you can be accepted as a full-time student participating in the English Support Program. Students in the English Support Program receive of individual tutorials and ESL classes. Professional tutors help students succeed in their regular (non-ESL) courses. Students with TOEFL scores between 400 and 500 must complete the 5-week Summer Intensive English Program. More advanced students may take as many as eleven (11) credits in regualr courses and still receive the services of the English Support Program. Students' schedules vary depending on their interests and abilities. Students in the the English Support Program are encouraged to take some general requirements right away. The Office of Career Services, the director of International Programs and academic major advisors all help the student to find opportunities to explore future professions and educational options. Internships are available both before and after graduation. Other International Student Services include frequent trips and outings, a multi-media language laboratory, help with housing, health, transportation and visas and a host family program. | |
