Explore the many habitats of the Bolivian Amazon including lowland rainforests, cloud forests, seasonally flooded forests, and beautiful river beaches, including the Amboro & Carrasco National Parks and the Bolivian Amazon River System. Wildlife is abundant, and there are many opportunities to view Howler, Squirrel and Spider monkeys. Sloths, pink river dolphins, toucans and a number of macaws are also commonly observed. For travelers with a botanical interest, plant life exhibits adaptations that have ensured their survival through time. Plants with the largest leaves in the world, large enough to shelter a person from rain, can be found in Bolivia. This trip also provides great birding opportunities and observing over 200 bird species is not an unreasonable expectation for this trip.Stay in comfortable rainforest lodges while exploring the wonders of the Bolivian Amazon.
