| London is not only filled with art, history and culture, it is arguably Europe’s most vibrant and exciting city. Unfortunately, despite all that London has to offer most visitors spend their time at a handful of sights listed in a guidebook and never unlock the city’s real treasures. Our itinerary includes both, ranging from traditional sights such as the infamous Bloody Tower to hidden gems like Middle Temple and the quirky Sir John Soanes Museum.
Royal London: We’ve timed our trip to coincide with the Golden Jubilee celebrations marking the Queen’s 50th anniversary on the throne. In addition to soaking up the pageantry of the Horse Guards parade and the little seen Ceremony of the Keys, we’ll explore London’s royal past from inside the very heart of the monarchy. Starting with Windsor Castle, home of royals for over 900 years, our destinations also include Henry VIII’s riverside palace at Hampton Court and the more modern Kensington Palace, former home of Queen Victoria and Princess Diana. | |
