| On this participatory journey for art lovers and artists, we will divide our time between the bustling, modern city of Athens and the idyllic beauty of the Greek islands. In Athens we will be inspired by contemporary art and culture while walking its ancient neighborhoods and visiting the small private musea and galleries most tourists never see. On the island of Tinos, you will have ample opportunity to express yourself creatively. Painters, photographers, and sculptors alike will admire Tinos' rugged landscape with decorative dovecotes, ancient villages of cobblestone streets, and spectacular beaches. Or, perhaps you would like to try your hand at marble carving? Our optional 5 day marble carving studio session caters to beginners or accomplished artists - and includes your own piece of marble. We'll take interesting day trips to the islands of Syros and Hydra - and enjoy the best of Greek wines in our visits to some of the nicest small vineyards in the Attica basin. | |
