| A minimum TOEFL score of 500 (PBT) or 173 (CBT) is required for undergraduate admission, and a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) for graduate admission. If your TOEFL score is below the requirement or you do not have a TOEFL score at the time of application, you may apply for admission to Lakeland College English Language Institute. The English Language Institute is an academic division of Lakeland College. It offers international students the opportunity to develop the English proficiencies required to be admitted to, and succeed in, an American college or university of their choice. English courses such as English Grammar, Advanced Reading, Academic Writing, and TOEFL Preparation carry college credits, which are applicable to your undergraduate degree at Lakeland. After you have achieved the required English proficiency level, you may enter academic degree programs at Lakeland or other colleges and universities in the United States.
