| TOEFL Preparation
This is an intensive course that meets for 18 hours per week. It is for the intermediate and advanced student planning on taking the TOEFL test within 6 months of entering the class. There is a practice TOEFL test once a week. This course prepares students for all sections of the test. For those needing extra work in the writing area, there are optional writing tutorials available. Most American universities require foreign students to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
TOEIC Preparation
The Test of English for International Communication is an English proficiency exam that measures English communication skills that are typical in various work environments. The TOEIC exam is a 3 hour test that is divided into listening and reading sections. A high score is helpful in helping people achieve promotions in their places of work.
