| CEL San Diego is located in the heart of beautiful Downtown San Diego within walking distance of many worthwhile attractions. We offer 8 different basic language courses, in addition to other specialized courses which are offered periodically, according to student demand. For the schedule of classes, tuition and homestay fees, please refer to the enclosed insert.
Lessons are structured in such a way that one studies all aspects of the English language: grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, as well as conversation. CEL also offers special exam preparation programs for TOEFL (which is required for admission to American universities), TOEIC, and the Cambridge First and Advanced Certificate Exams. CEL is, in fact, an official Southern California test center for the TOEIC. In addition, special Business and Private classes are available. It should be mentioned that CEL is a school for serious students interested in learning.
At CEL, the students are the center of attention. Our friendly, active learning environment and our qualified team with years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language provide a setting in which the students not only learn, but flourish. The vast majority of our students hear about CEL from friends and family who have attended our school.
When school is out, we know how to have fun, too. CEL regularly organizes school trips to such destinations as Disneyland, Mexico, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Also, some kind of sport or recreational activity is organized for the entire school every week.
