| Converse International School of Languages, in San Diego, San
Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has been offering Intensive English
programs for students from all over the world since 1972. Our small class
size, interactive teaching methods, professional teachers and diverse
international student population make us the best destination in the USA.
Among our programs are 10 levels of Intensive and Semi-Intensive General
English, Cambridge First and Advanced Certificates,TOEFL, TOEIC, Busi
ness English, and Academic Year Abroad. Our 3- and 4-week Youth Programs in
January, July and August, offered in San Diego only, welcome international
students from 15-17 years of age. CISL also offers challenging Internship
Programs in fields such as Banking/Finance, Law, Travel & Tourism, Marketing,
Computers, and Architecture. Students enjoy a full Activities Program, with
afternoon sport and/or cultural activities and weekend excursions to such
interesting destinations as Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon,
Hollywood, Mexico, Disneyland, Universal Studios and the Bahamas. You
may choose from a variety of accommodations to suit your needs - you
may live with an American Family, as part of our Homestay program, in
Student Residence Clubs or in an apartment. No matter which program
you choose, you may be sure you will receive individual and personal
attention from a friendly administrative and teaching staff who under-
stand that this trip is an important event in your life. We will do
