| CINCILINGUA is the ideal center for the teaching of American English, due to its central location within the U.S. and the fact that “standard English” is spoken in Cincinnati. Furthermore, because of the character of our population, it is unlikely that you will hear your own language spoken in our streets, shops or restaurants. You will be completely immersed in English. Due to our status as an intensive training center, our experience and our success, we have been authorized by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service to provide I-20 forms to our students, which are used to obtain student visas for the U.S. Our Intensive Training Program (ITP), which is implemented on a one-to-one basis, is a most demanding course. This program specializes in meeting the needs of those who must learn the language in a short time. Since you tell us your objectives and we plan your program accordingly, you will essentially design your course yourself. If you wish to speak English fluently, your program will focus on conversation. If developing listening comprehension is your main goal, specific activities and exercises will be included in your program to improve this skill. Additionally, the “Live and Learn” Program is a unique feature of our ESL courses, and is only offered at our Center. This program uses many parts of Cincinnati for its classrooms. You visit many “real-life” Cincinnati sites, such as manufacturing operations and major corporations, banks and governmental centers and locations popular with visitors to the city. These tours give you an opportunity to apply your newly-acquired language skills to everyday situations, get to know Cincinnati and enjoy its unique attributes. Our comprehensive course package includes 40 hours of private instruction per week (six days per week, Saturdays included), hotel room accommodations at a first class hotel near the school, lunch six days per week, with an instructor. Courses can begin on any Monday. With at least two weeks' prior notice of your arrival, we can properly set up a customized program to meet your specific needs. | |
