| Cal Poly Continuing Education's Crosscultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) Coursework Option Program prepares teachers to work with students from different cultures and languages. The coursework is approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the CLAD Certificate. Teachers who work with second language learners in California public school classrooms are required to have this special training. You may be in the program with any course in the sequence of study. Approved coursework from other institutions may be substituted.
