Description:
| The UC Davis International English and Professional Program has vast experience in designing custom programs for groups and individuals who have special needs. These programs range from those that emphasize English proficiency and American culture to those that are related to content expertise of the university. This is an ideal way to ensure that the specific educational needs of a group of participants are addressed. Groups interested in an English Language Custom-Designed Program work with an International Training and Education Specialist to develop a proposal between the group or organization. These programs differ from open enrollment programs because they concentrate on participants' skills and interests, allowing greater flexibility in scheduling, course content and level and overall costs. Each program contains an academic component as well as social and cultural components.
English Language Custom-Designed Programs are not limited to the academic calendar and may be scheduled anytime as space is available. Although the average length of an English Language Custom-Designed Program is four weeks, programs vary from two weeks to nine months in length.
