| Alliant International University (AIU) in Mexico City, Mexico, offers Associate, Bachelor, and Masters degree programs in psychology, organizational and industrial psychology, counseling, international relations, Latin American studies, business administration, international business, management, and organizational development. Students can also minor in Spanish, sociology, environmental science, literature, information systems, finance, marketing, hospitality and tourism. Coursework is supplemented with field trips and internships at local businesses, law firms, community organizations, clinics and government agencies. The program includes a 3-credit Academic Tour and cultural excursions in Mexico. All courses and field trips are conducted in English.
[AIU/MEXICO CITY] AIU is recognized as a leading private university in Mexico, with exceptional schools of business and international relations. AIU is located in the heart of Mexico City near the historic center, business district and governing bodies. Mexico City is the financial and political capital of Mexico and Central America.
[COURSES] The program offers courses in international business, marketing, finance, management, economics, commerce law, foreign policy and Latin American relations. Courses in the liberal arts, psychology, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American studies, and environmental studies are also available.
[ACADEMIC TOURS] Each term students participate in a week-long (3-credit) Academic Tour focused on a particular theme, which provides in-depth knowledge and first-hand experience about Mexican and Latin American culture, history, business and politics. Academic Tours include extensive travel in Mexico with a professor from AIU.
[EXCURSIONS] Each term the program includes field trips in Mexico City including to Templo Mayor, Zocalo, Cathedral, Palacio Nacional, Museum of Anthropology, Castillo de Chapultepec, Coyoacan, Xochimilco, Basilica de Guadalupe and Pyramids of Teotihuacan. A weekend excursion is also included to one of the following locations: Puebla, Tlaxcala, Cuernavaca, Tepotzlan, San Miguel de Allende, Queretaro, Guanajuato, Veracruz, Morelia & Patzcuaro, Villages of Metepec, Malinalco & Chalma, Oaxaca, Chichen Itza, Merida or Cancun.
[LIVING] Students reside in student apartments, located in the vibrant Colonia Roma of Mexico City. The apartments are conveniently situated 15 minutes from the University campus, 5 minutes from the metro and bus stations, and 15 minutes from downtown.
[TUITION] Fall term - $8,960; Spring term - $8,960; Academic Year - $17,830; Summer session I or II - $4,970; Summer Session I and II - $7,470. Program tuition includes academics, college or graduate credit, housing, on-site support, medical and travel insurance, mobile phone, airport pick-up, field trips, and sightseeing. | |
