| The C.V.Starr-Middlebury College School in France was founded in 1949 as a Graduate Program where Middlebury College French School students could continue and finish their MA degree in Paris. As Middlebury College undergraduate students began to show interest in going abroad, the program was expanded to fulfill their needs. Located in Paris at Reid Hall and the University of Paris III (Sorbonne-Nouvelle), with direct enrollment options at Université de Paris III, Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), Institut Catholique (Catho) and other institutions. This program is fully integrated at the Université de Poitiers. Housing is in homestays, foyers or student apartments. Internships, undergraduate and graduate programs are available. To take full advantage of their stay abroad, students are expected to maintain the spirit of the Middlebury College Language Pledge and speak only French while in Paris. It is expected that no English will be used, except for emergency consultations with the Director. | |
