Description:
| The African Tourism & Hospitality Management Program at the United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi, Kenya, is designed for undergraduates, graduates and professionals interested in international travel, hotel, recreation and entertainment, restaurant, and food and beverage management. Coursework is supplemented with field trips and internships at local businesses, hotels, restaurants and tourist agencies. The program includes sightseeing, cultural and safari excursions in Kenya. All courses and field trips are conducted in English.
Depending on course-load and internship involvement, students can earn up to 16 credit units per term towards their undergraduate or graduate degree. Transcripts are issued by the United States International University. This program is offered during the Fall, Spring Summer and Academic Year.
United States International University is part of the Alliant International University system, which has campuses in the USA, Mexico and Kenya. USIU is dually accredited in the USA by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC), and in Kenya by the Ministry of Education of Kenya. USIU faculty consists of academics, business professionals and diplomats who lived, studied and worked in countries throughout Africa and the world. The University is situated on 20-acre campus in Kasarani, 7 miles from the center of Nairobi. | |
