Description:
| We canīt save the World, feed all the hungry or heal all sick but we should continue our little work because all big trees grows from the little seeds, because saving one child means saving one child more. So, we will continue our work in our name, yours and in the name of Humanity.
* Foundation Prana is a new, small, lay charity organization in Ecuador without any grants or funding. We base our activity on volunteers involvement and self financing. We provide welfare and health services to poor and low income people but especially to the abandoned, abused, neglected, homeless and sick children.
. Our other objectives are alternative medicine propagation, training and implementation. PRANA is also esoteric and inner development center.
OUR PROJECTS
PRANA in Ecuador is undergoing changes due to the shifting main office from Guayaquil to Quito. Here, we are starting from scratches. For volunteers it means lot of different work and opportunity to show and implement your initiative.

Note: At the moment almost all projects are in development stage. Depends on volunteers how fast projects will be implemented .

*Christmas Party for children of the streets and from poor families (implemented)
*Rehabilitation Center for children with serious neurological, physical and mental problems
*Shelter for children and mothers in distress
*Weekend Foster Family project (Unts and Uncles)
* VOLUNTEERS OF ANY AGE, RACE, NATIONALITY, BELIEFS, PROFESIONS AND SKILLS WELCOME FOR SHORT OR LONG TERMS. WE ACCEPT ALSO VOLUNTEERS WITH CHILDREN
Being in the starting stage Prana offers a lot of opportunities to the volunteers of many different professions, skills talents and abilities. From the carpenters to the doctors and nurses we need you all but you have to be flexible. In other words, you have to be willing to do any necessary task. (no one will be obliged to do any physically heavy work) It's like in the small business - you are the manager, accountant, cleaner or plumber. Is takes lot of determination as things not always go smooth at the beginning. Volunteers without any profession but with lot of good will also welcome.
* You will be asked to contribute to PRANA minimum of $300 a month toward your food, accommodation and activities of foundation.The only extra money you will need is money to spend for you pleasure.
* Accommodation is a dormitory type, separate for male and female, basic but clean, safe and comfortable in the familiar atmosphere.
* Food is continental and is sufficient.
