| The Chinese Language, Culture and Humanities Program at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China is designed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in Manadarin language training, Asian culture and Chinese Society as well as international business, economics, commerce, law, politics and diplomacy. Coursework is supplemented with field trips and internships at local businesses, law firms, government agencies and social organizations. Students can earn up to 20 credits towards their undergraduate or graduate degree. Knowledge of Chinese is not required. The entire program is conducted in English.
[UIBE] The University of International Business and Economics is the leading business, law and diplomacy school in China. And, UIBE has one of oldest Mandarin language programs in China. Students have the opportunity to learn from distinguished faculty who are at the center of China’s economic, political and legal reforms.
[LIVING] Students live at the International Student Center, in double occupancy rooms, each with a private bathroom, air-conditioning and computer network. Student activities include sports, academic clubs and social events with Chinese and other international students. Beijing has a thriving night life with lots of theaters, night clubs and cultural events.
[EXCURSIONS] The program includes sightseeing and cultural excursions in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Mongolia. The Academic Year program also includes an excursion to Tibet during the winter break.
[TUITION] Summer term - $5,770; Fall term - $6,900; Spring term - $6,900; Academic Year - $16,930. Tuition includes all academic fees, textbooks, accommodations, roundtrip travel, visa, transportation in Beijing, on-site support, medical coverage and excursions. All forms of federal, state and local financial aid and scholarship awards can be used to pay program tuition. | |
