Originally founded in Salamanca in 1988, Escuela Internacional has since grown to have three centers in Spain (Salamanca, Alcalá de Henares(Madrid), and Málaga and two centers in Latin America (Cuernavaca, Mexico; San Jose, Costa Rica). We have 17 different course options and in Spain we offer you the opportunity to combine your course among the three centers. Combining your course in this manner allows you to live in different cities, see more of Spain and learn more about the Spanish culture.
1600 students (ages 17 to 75) from all over the world came to our school in 2002 and this makes for a very international atmosphere. Since the common language is Spanish, this international atmosphere will help you to make new friends and speak lots of Spanish. In the afternoons and on the weekends we offer a variety of cultural activities and excursions. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced level Spanish speaker, young or old, university student, business person or someone just interested in learning Spanish we have a course for you.
We are CEELE certified. CEELE is a Certificate of Quality in the Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language (Certificado de Calidad en la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera) granted by the Spanish Department of University of Alcalá de Henares and the Association of Spanish Economic Resources.
