Description:
| VISIONS offers teenagers opportunities for ambitious service work and cross-cultural immersion in the United States and abroad. We work with and for intercultural communities that lack financial and other development resources. Through service, authentic experience, and active exploration, we encourage new perspectives and dynamic learning. We offer language (Spanish and French) immersion programs as well as English.
Groups of up to 25 teenagers (aged 14-18) and 6 staff leaders live together in a community building (school, church hall, community center) in the heart of our host community. We spend about 60% of our time doing community service and the other 40% exploring our surroundings and getting to know our local friends.
We have a 4 week session in July and a 3 week session in August.
Prices vary according to program but range from $2800 - $3980. | |
