Description:
| ECI Summer study abroad exchange program in Spain for High School students offers intensive small-group Spanish classes, cultural and language immersion with host families, the choice of university-style dormitory accommodation, and an additional week of travel throughout Spain.
Our high quality summer programs are based in Salamanca, San Sebastian, Granada and Nerja, and focus on Spanish language and culture. They range in length from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.
Each program balances structured activities and free time. Morning Spanish classes are taught by native speakers and offer students the option of earning university credit. Recreational activities such as beach trips, soccer and horseback riding are organized, as well as cultural and social activities such as flamenco, salsa, concerts, museum trips, language partner sessions, tapas nights and movies. Plenty of free time is scheduled to explore the beautiful historic centers of the various towns and to take in the amazing art and architecture found in Spain.
Weekend travel to nearby villages and towns is included. Depending on the program chosen, the additional week of travel includes locations such as Barcelona, Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Seville and the Mediteranean beach community of Nerja. | |
