| IUS' goal is to offer a study abroad program that provides the highest quality opportunity for academic, cultural and personal enrichment by: providing the instruction and support required to speak and understand the Spanish language; the experiential contact to help our students develop deeper insights into the cultural and artistic heritage of the Spanish people; introducing participants to the
cultural and artistic heritage of the Latin American nations; facilitating and encouraging participation in Spanish society; and ensuring a safe and healthy experience.
The many advantages that our IUS boasts include: Beginning, intermediate and advanced courses; most classes taught in Spanish by Spanish instructors; low student-teacher ratio; University of Seville courses available with other Americans or native Spanish students; Fall and Spring semesters and/or three
week intensive programs in January, June and July; a wide range of course offerings in addition to Spanish language courses. All this
while our students are immersed in beautiful, historical Seville and participating in excursions to sites in and around Seville. And, IUS students are housed with local Spanish families. But, as always, the IUS staff is ready to offer support services and arrange extracurricular activities.
