Description:
| More than just a study abroad program, this unique experience will help you find the spirit behind the language. You'll deepen your understanding of Japanese culture while you're having fun and making friends that will last a lifetime. New Perspectives: Japan is a three-phase program which is centered around a two-week study tour to Japan. You, your teacher, and other classmates will approach the program as a group, sharing insights and reflections to enhance the overall experience. The program begins several weeks before departure with weekly lessons on a theme that you and your school group choose. Then, your group will travel to Japan, where you'll visit a Japanese school, live with a Japanese host family, visit historical sites in Tokyo and Kyoto, and practice your Japanese on a daily basis. Once you return to the United States, you will work with your group to assess your experience. | |
