Description:
| The program will provide eligible high school graduates with the experience of living in Lancaster, England and studying at St. Martin’s College for 12 weeks during St. Martin’s Lent (Spring) Term. Participating students must be graduates of a regionally accredited high school with sufficient academic ability and emotional maturity to benefit from the study abroad experience.
The program offers students the opportunity to earn 6-9 college credits. The credits will be issued through Molloy College in order to facilitate their transfer to other U.S. Colleges and Universities.
At the end of the program an academic transcript indicating the specific credits earned overseas will be issued to the student and sent to the college of university of the students choice. Additional transcripts will be provided according to the College’s usual transcript fee.
Located in Lancaster, England, St. Martin's College (founded in 1963) has over 9000 full-time and part-time students. The college also has campuses located in Ambleside (in the heart of England's scenic Lake District) and in Carlisle. Lancaster itself is an historic city with a thriving social life, including theatres, clubs and pubs. The city is located only a short ride away from the Lake District and only a few hours by train from London, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
