Description:
| The Summer Challenge Program is a two-week, non-credit college preparatory program for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors). Students choose two academic seminars from the areas of creative writing, persuasive speaking, business, visual arts, law, and science.
The Summer 2004 sessions are held June 20-July 2, July 18-July 30, or August 1 to August 13. Each seminar meets five days a week for the two-week session. The seminars offer a combination of lectures, individual and group work, project-based assignments, and field trips. Classes are small to ensure maximum class participation and personal attention from experienced college instructors. The courses are designed to build on high-school learning and expose students to the standards of college-level work. | |
