Description:
| International Students Cultural Exchange's Teach & Travel Program offers native English speakers the opportunity to teach English in China and/or Taiwan during the summer vacation months. This is the perfect opportunity for those who are interested in traveling in the Greater China region while interacting with enthusiastic, local English-learning students. Participants will gain valuable experience teaching practical English to local students in a summer camp environment. Knowledge of Chinese and prior teaching experience are not required, but applicants must be native English speakers. Costs in addition to the program fee are minimal since meals, travel, and accommodations are provided. As this is a volunteer position, participants will not be paid a monetary salary.
Program Highlights Include:
•Round-trip airfare from San Francisco International Airport to teaching destination
•FREE two- to three-day BONUS TRIPS to Hong Kong and Beijing (travel and accommodation costs included) upon completion of the program
•Mandatory one- to two-day training session and orientation where all teaching materials will be provided
•Housing provided by the local teaching site
•Meals provided three times a day, five days a week; or a meal stipend will be provided
•Medical insurance
•An in-country ISCE representative
•Possible college or internship credit | |
