Description:
| This is a Working Holiday for people with an interest in archaeology. No technical skills are required since much of the work involves digging and clearance tasks but volunteers with archaeological ability would be particulary welcome. The botanically rich Iron Age hill fort of Badbury Rings with its Bronze Age Burial mounds dominates the surronding Kingston Lacy Estate. The recently discovered Romano-Celtic temple at Badbury was in use from late Iron Age to the end of the Roman period. It requires a protective covering to conserve and display the site that has been damaged by burrowing animals and metal "deterctorists." .
