| If you're looking to experience South East Asia, but would like to discover more than the usual backpacker's trail, then the Teach in Thailand program is for you! Palm-fringed beaches, deep turquoise-blue waters and one of the the world's tastiest and tangiest cuisines form a popular image of Thailand but there's far more to the 'land of smiles' than that! As the only South East Asian country never to have been colonised by the West, Thailand boasts a culture rich in history and steeped in tradition which its people, renowned for their amazing hospitality, will be only too happy to show you.
By investing 5 or 10 months of your time on Teach in Thailand you'll gain a unique insight into this extra-ordinary culture as an explorer of Thailand from the inside. You'll have the chance to exchange more than a fleeting 'sawadee' with the locals, as you undertake the challenging yet rewarding role of improving your students' command of the English language while providing them with a glimpse into your own culture.
You'll be teaching in one of Asia's most exciting cities, Bangkok, where calm retreats amid glorious temples are never more than a tuk-tuk ride away from the thrill of fast-paced urban living! You don't need teaching experience or a TEFL qualification to apply but a genuine interest in Thailand and teaching, plus an appetite for adventure are a must!
