| Teach in China is an exciting affordable opportunity to live and work in a country which boasts a rich 3,000 year long history. China is a diverse country in terms of geography, language, and culture. It will take more than a two- week tour to understand its complexity or appreciate its unique beauty. As a Teach in China participant, you will teach Chinese students and participate in everyday Chinese life. During the course of your stay in China, you will most likely experience unprecedented personal growth as your worldview expands.
As China undergoes the transition from a traditional, agricultural society to an industrialized one, more than 450 million Chinese are currently studying English. This creates opportunities for everyone - Chinese and foreigners alike. Teach in China offers you a unique chance to be a part of modern history in the making. Not only are people all over China studying English; they are absorbing western culture as well. Besides the desire to learn proper verb conjugation and other nuances of the English language, your Chinese students will be eager to learn about your family, work, and hobbies.
