Description:
| This programme has been designed to provide young people with an opportunity to improve current English language skills in the work place. The programme is aimed at younger trainees with an Intermediate language level.
International Work Trials including 1 week course and accommodation
This option is suitable for the younger trainees who have not travelled abroad before and who would like to make some friends and join in the school’s social
programme.
15 hours lessons of General English in week 1 is included in the programme together with 4 weeks half board host family accommodation and a 3 week placement with a local company.
International Work Trials without tuition or
accommodation
For the more adventurous student looking to go straight into a company (accommodation optional).

Suitable for
Trainees, still in full-time education or those between school and
university education,who are interested in gaining a short
period of work experience. Ideal for students who want to improve current English language skills through work and who do not want to be classroom based but be absorbed into British life and culture.
Minimum age 16
Benefits of the
programme
The programme is offered year round and you can book for a
minimum of 3 weeks. The
programme opens doors to young people with little or no previous work experience in a variety of areas. English is improved in the work place and life skills are improved simultaneously.
You can work towards gaining
the University of Cambridge
Local Examination Syndicate Certificate upon successful
completion (a minimum of 3weeks is required for the UCLES award).
Duration
Placements are from 3 weeks
minimum to 6 weeks and are offered all year round. | |
