| This program includes four days of sightseeing of Shanghai and a teacher training workshop hosted by
Shanghai University. Visit: Shanghai Museum, Cha Bei Park, the historically and architecturally famous Bund, the new Pudong financial center, Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha, Nanjing Lu --- the busiest shopping street on earth and the world class Shanghai Acrobats. The teacher training workshop consists of instruction on Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and Chinese class-room management. Learn teaching skills and techniques. Teach English language, US history, culture to Chinese students ages 13-25, 9-12, Monday through Friday. Learn about Chinese history and culture in the afternoons with your students. Visit the famous Giant Panda Research Station, ancient temples and sacred mountains. No teaching experience or Chinese language required, though very helpful. Please ask about our one month optional
Mandarin Chinese study program.
