Description:
| This summer program (June-August) provides training opportunities for enrolled students in Germany. Paid and unpaid placements are available in business/finance, hotel management/tourism, computer science, and engineering fields. Application deadline is December 15 for the following summer. A limited number of stipends for one-month language courses are available if you qualify. CDS arranges internship, offers pre-departure and in-country orientation, processes necessary work authorization, arranges language course in Germany for additional fee (if necessary), and provides support throughout the program.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens. Other citizens may apply if they are enrolled full-time at a U.S. college/university. The maximum age for participation is 30, and candidates must have German language proficiency. For those participant who need additional language training, a one-month intensive language course is available prior to a two-month internship. The program is open to college students majoring in business, marketing, engineering, computer science or hotel management/tourism. Practical work experience is preferred but not required.
