Description:
| This is a competitive scholarship program with two types of awards: SHORT-TERM SCHOLARSHIPS for two or three months in Germany for summer study abroad/summer courses at German Universities, independent senior thesis research or internships, and LONG-TERM SCHOLARSHIPS for an academic year or semester study abroad as part of an independent study abroad period, as part of an exchange program of your US university or an externally organized study abroad program.
US undergraduates (and in some cases Canadian undergraduates) who have sophomore standing by the time of application and junior standing by the time of departure for Germany are eligible.
