| This programs are designed for average people, university students, professionals and teachers from 18 years old, who want to experience the "real world" while promoting international cooperation and understanding. They can choose from hundreds of short-term, team oriented projects in Costa Rica and spend from 1 months to 18 months getting to know another culture and language and having fun while helping a community with their work. At the end of the program they will get a certificate to attach to their résumé. OTEC is one of only a few educational travel companies in the world that offers international students paid Internships and Summer Work programs in Costa Rica, besides the volunteer work programs. With dozens of locations and numerous employers around the country for you to choose from, we'll help you find work that turns into the experience of a lifetime. All you do is choose the location, length of time you're willing to stay, and give us an idea of the type of position you will consider. Our excellent staff here in will do the rest.
