Description:
| San Rafael de Coronado is located 10 kilometers north of San José and very close to the Braulio Carrillo Natural Reserve. Escuela Internacional’s collaborating school is located here, in the middle of 4000 square meters of tropical garden.
There is a bus station 800 meters from the school, where you can reach the center of San Jose by bus in 20-30 minutes. These buses run every 15 minutes from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. One trip costs US$ 0.25.
The School in Costa Rica is an independent Center of the Escuela Internacional Group. It was founded in 1986 and is one of the oldest language school in Costa Rica.
The classes are given by professors with experience in the direct method of learning a foreign language. The professors are native speakers of Spanish and hold university degrees. The school has 7 classrooms, a reception area with a student lounge, a winter garden with a library, including daily newspapers, a functional kitchen, and a computer room with e-mail services.
The maximum number of students in a class is 5.
The schedule for the Intensive ourse is from 8:30 to 14:00 with 2 30 minute breaks.
Classes last 45 minutes.
Classes begin every Monday, throughout the year.
The minimum age to participate in group courses is 17 years old.
Course details:
1) Intensive Course : 30 lessons per week , from 2 to 12 weeks, maximum number of students in a class is 5 and the classes are scheduled from 8:30 to 14:00 h.
2) Principal Course: 20 lessons per week, from 2 to 16 weeks, maximum number of students in a class is 5 and the classes are scheduled from 8:00 to 12:00 h.
3) Curso Individual: The number of lessons is flexible, from 1 to 16 weeks, 1:1 student teacher ratio and the time shedule is also flexible.
4) Principal+Individual: 20+5 lessons per week (20 lessons in group and 5 individual) 2 to 12 weeks, maximum number of students in a class is 5 and the classes are scheduled from 8:00 a 12:50 h.
5) Cuorse in a Professors home: 15 lessons per week, from 1 to 16 weeks, 1:1 student teacher ratio and the time shedule is also flexible. | |
