Description:
| Brenau University is a private comprehensive university that includes the Women’s College, the Evening and Weekend College, and the Academy. These three divisions offer diverse educational opportunities. The Women’s College offers more than 30 baccalaureate and graduate programs with a liberal arts foundation. The Evening and Weekend College offers baccalaureate, master’s and education specialist degrees to both men and women. The Academy, a residential preparatory school founded in 1928, provides educational opportunities for young women in grades nine through twelve.
Brenau’s 56-acre main campus is located within two blocks of the center of Gainesville in an attractive residential area of town. The 63 campus buildings include fifteen academic buildings, nine residence halls, eight sorority houses, an amphitheater, auditorium/theatre, art gallery, tennis center, and natatorium.
Brenau University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor, master’s and the specialist in education degrees.
