| Are you looking for an intensive French language course located in a breathtaking setting?
We are proud to be working with ‘Insted Chamonix’ who are a branch of Université Stendhal in Grenoble, through the Centre Universitaire d’Etudes Francaises.
The minimum course length they can offer is two weeks based upon 20 lessons a week from Monday to Friday, and the minimum age is 18 years.
We do recommend that participants have some existing knowledge of the language as all teaching is carried out in French and the course is quite fast paced.
A wide range of teaching methods and a varied course literature of newspapers, commercials, cartoons, texts by well-known French authors and video recordings, are used to help you get the most out of the course and give you a good understanding of the French way of life.
As you improve, more time is spent on conversational exercises, debate and discussion of a range of cultural subjects such as French history, literature, society and politics, and current affairs.
During the evenings we can suggest which bars and restaurants are the best to visit, and over weekends we are happy to arrange fun alpine activities like climbing, mountain biking, and rafting, as well as trips to local towns.
Please note that the school is closed on 14 July, 15 August due to French National Holidays. | |
