Description: This four week program is open to high school class of 2003, college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. No previous language study required. Transcripts issued by Richmond, The American International University in London, a U.S.-accredited university. Visa not required for U.S. citizens for less than a three month stay. Students are housed in apartments and/or student residence, or as a paying guest in a private Italian home and receive seven breakfast and five dinner vouchers per week for use at selected restaurants, cafés and food stores. Cultural activities include visits to museums, art galleries and monuments as well as optional excursions. AIFS program fees range from $4,239-5,139 and include tuition, housing and 12 meals per week, round trip air, cultural activities, services of an on-site Resident Director and services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center. Application deadline is March 15. Scholarships are available.
