Description:
| Princeton Travelers organizes Mandarin language study programs to China for students and professionals. The objective of the Mandarin Program is to
help students learn the Chinese Language as well as better understand Chinese culture. The language program is sponsored by Beijing Polytechnic University (BPU). The following are some of the program highlights:
1. BEIJING POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY. Prominent University that has been teaching foreign language students since 1988.
2. SMALL CLASSES. Less than 10 students per class, taught by professional and experienced Mandarin teachers.
3. PRIVATE CLASSES. Option to take private one-on-one classes.
4. HOME STAY. Option to live with Chinese family and maximize language and cultural immersion.
5. PRIVATE TUTORING. Each student is assigned a native speaking tutor to
practice conversation and clarify difficulties with the course material.
6. ACADEMIC & CULTURAL CLASSES. Weekly seminars by Professors on history, politics, economics and culture. Elective courses in Tai-chi, Calligraphy, Chinese painting, and martial arts.
7. SIGHTSEEING. Excursions accompanied by Chinese history professor.
8. LOCAL RESTAURANTS. Trips to local Beijing restaurants that are rarely visited by foreigners to taste a variety of Chinese cuisines.
9. SPORTS ACTIVITIES WITH BPU STUDENTS. Make new friends and practice Mandarin during weekend soccer and basketball games with local students.
10. WELL LOCATED CAMPUS. BPU is conveniently located only 10 minutes from World Trade Center. | |
