| The Career English Language Center for International Students (CELCIS) prepares non-
native English speakers to use English effectively in their university study or careers.
CELCIS is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation
(CEA) and is a member of both University and College Intensive English Programs
(UCIEP) and the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
Completion of the advanced level of CELCIS allows students to enter Western Michigan
University without a TOEFL score for all undergraduate and most graduate programs.
CELCIS students have access to all the technical, sport, and cultural facilities
of Western Michigan University and the small, friendly city of Kalamazoo, making
it the perfect place to learn English and American culture. | |
