The school was established in 1986 and is situated in the old city center of Perugia. The school is member of ASILS, the association of the most renowned Italian teaching institutes with a strict quality criteria.
The average age of our students ranges from 20-25, with the minimum age being 16. However also several elder students attend our courses.
An average class size consists of 7 students and the maximum 12 students at a time.
In Perugia there are many students from all over Italy due to the Italian university having many faculties. Italian and foreign students are attracted to Perugia for many reasons: the rich cultural history and the atmosphere and life of a small metropolis where one has only the embarrassment of choosing amongst the numerous disco-pubs, restaurants, cinemas, "Pizzerie", art exhibitions and concerts of modern and classical music.
Perugia is still very much a livable city - it's not too small and, at the same time, not too big but big enough to have a variety of events held during the year that attract tourists to it.
Umbria Jazz being one of the major events of the year attracting jazz lovers from all over the world. Other interesting events are 'Eurochocolate' , ten days completely dedicated to this exquisite food.
Various activities and excursions are organized for the students where they can become involved in the culture and lifestyle of Italy including sightseeing-tours, film evenings, cooking lessons and general get togethers and meals.
Students have the opportunity to mix with native speakers and locals living with families or in shared apartments.
