| The school was founded in 1985, and is located in the heart of the old town, surrounded by many restaurants and terrace cafés. It offers a warm, multicultural atmosphere and occupies a magnificently renovated 18th century building, it even has a 15th century cellar. From your classroom window you can admire Charlemagne tower, one of the town's oldest monuments. The school has spacious and comfortable classrooms, during the summer months you can relax on the rooftop terrace.
Wine tasting course
This option has been running for several years now in response to student demand. You will learn about French wine, wine making and the correct way to taste red and white wines. The lessons are given by a wine specialist and are a favorite among students.
Standard 4 lessons daily (20 lessons per week), max. 7 students per class.
Our courses are taught by qualified teachers, who specialize in teaching French as a foreign language. Upon arrival at the school you will receive a file containing further information about the school and your stay in Tours. One of the teachers will take you on a guided visit of the school and will show you the literature, multimedia and other study aids available to you as a student. You will also receive a student card enabling you to benefit from various reductions in numerous museums, cinemas and bookshops, etc.
The school organizes a number of cultural activities and excursions: concerts, theatre, ballet, art exhibitions, to name but a few. You will also have the opportunity to join us once a month for a superb dinner in a small local restaurant, or at the table of one of France's great chefs, Jean Bardet.
