Description:
| Our school is very centrally located in a historic part of the city, close to the Metro Ligovsky Prospekt and is easy accessible from any point in the city. Bars, restaurants but also many theaters are within walking distance. All 14 classrooms are located on the 4th floor (no elevator) and it boasts a self-access center, cafeteria with freshly prepared hot and cold meals, social area with FREE internet access. The teachers, staff and students socialize easily both inside and outside the classroom and the school is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The school cultural officer who is responsible for the cultural program is also the school's ticket handling agent for all venues in the city. The schools in-house travel agency handles onward journeys to other parts of Russia, deals with visa issues and arranges train/flight tickets. Other facilities include a range of Russian and international newspapers, satellite TV, a fast and inexpensive courier service for incoming and outgoing mail. The school also offers free airport/train station pickup.
Sport facilities are available in a nearby hotel fitness club, facilities include bicycle, treadmill, rower, stepper, single stations, free weights, dumb bells, flat bench and others. The Center offers a wide variety of training at reasonable rates.
Standard: 4 lessons of daily instruction (20 lessons per week), lessons are 50 minutes. Additional daily instruction can be added, Extended Group Course lessons are available and consist of 4 weekly sessions in the afternoon. Max 8 students per class and the minimum length of programs is 2 weeks.
Program also includes:
- Common lectures in, the History of St.Petersburg, Literature of Russian classics, Russian Economy, the Mass Media, Current Politics etc.
- One-to-One Courses are also available (Minimum course length is one week)
- TRKI Preparation Courses are available, Currently the Russian testing system for speakers of Russian
- Text-books and other material will be provided by the School but please provide Russian grammar books/dictionaries etc. | |
