| Our school is one of Costa Rica's premier language schools, which is located in the quiet eastern suburb of San Pedro, near to Costa Rica's largest university. The school offers excellent programs for the more mature language student who is looking for a serious and challenging language learning experience. Many students come from Europe, providing a student population with a wide cultural diversity. Its location near the university and excellent custom-built facilities, including a computer lab, terrace with mountain view, cafeteria and gardens - provide an ideal learning environment.
Standard: 4 Lessons of daily instruction (20 lessons per week), max 4 students per class.
Intensive: 6 Lessons of daily instruction (20 lessons per week), private teacher. The intensive program consists of 6 lessons of individual instruction per day. A special curriculum is designed based on a combination of your language needs, goals and Interests and the results of your written and oral exam.
Cultural activties are a big part of our program where you will have the opportunity to learn about the country, its history, and the people. In addition to lectures, we offer trips to places of interest such as museums, and a night at the theater. You can join as many activities as you like during your program and activities begin after 3:15 p.m, which means that you will not have to miss any of your classes. Normally, we plan 3 activities each week and all activities are free! Activities vary from week-to-week but could include: Lectures on Costa Rican, society and culture, Latin dance classes a lecture and slide-show, about Costa Rica's National Park system, guided visits to the National Museum with an anthropologist,cooking classes and central market visit. | |
