| Our school, which has over 38 years of experience teaching Swedish to foreign students, is located in a modern facility in the center of Uppsala. Our teachers are all specially trained to teach Swedish as a foreign language and many of our staff have been lecturers of Swedish at universities abroad and many are lecturers at a Swedish university. Students will find excellent research and study facilities at the University Library, which maintains a large number of books in Swedish as well as in English.
Our class sizes are kept to a max. of 13 students and we offer all the modern facilities, including computers and Internet access. Our afternoon classes and evening lectures provide insight to these important aspects of Sweden. Our regular excursions and activities allow our students to visit sites around Sweden and to experience Swedish culture, history, and society first hand. Every Friday there are daylong field trips to interesting places, and there are two longer weekend trips.
Standard program: (5 lessons days a week/ 4 days a week) some afternoon classes are taught in English. A placement test will be given to all students, except to total beginners, at the beginning of the course in order to determine their level of Swedish. Afternoon Classes are offered so you can go further into Swedish grammar.
- Weekend trips to Helsinki and Värmland and many sporting activities are offered
- Evening activities include Swedish cooking, sports, films, entertainment, lectures and intercultural gatherings
- A farewell dinner is also included
