| In summer, in July and again in August, Penobscot School offers three-week English immersion courses for adults. Since 1989, 350 adults from 40 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South and North America have participated. The small size of the group, the orientation to adult students, the homestays and extensive community involvement, and the method of language learning in the context of the exchange of ideas and knowledge, all make Penobscot School's English course very different from other summer English programs.
Penobscot School also organizes custom English programs at any time of year for individuals and small groups.
