Description:
| CLASS ITINERARY
- Language classes are 20 hours a week, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon Monday to Friday.
- Participants will take an oral and written placement test prior to program start dates to determine their Chinese proficiency level. There are five main proficiency levels from total beginner to advanced level.
- Attendance is compulsory for language classes at the Beijing Polytechnic University. After-class tutoring session and cultural electives are optional.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Cost US$1,650 for the 4 weeks program.
- Accommodations with a Chinese family (homestay) add US$300.
- Individual language instruction add US$600.
Dates The program dates are: June 9 - July 6, 2002 or July 10th - August 10th, 2002.
Individual instruction can start at any time.

Accommodations
Princeton Travelers makes all accommodation reservations and preparations for participants.
Students can choose campus housing, homestay with a Chinese family or hotel accommodation. The later two at additional cost. More information available upon request.
Airline Tickets
Participants are responsible for their own round-trip international air tickets from their home countries to China. Prices of round-trip tickets from the U.S. and Canada to China usually range from USD 600-1,000, depending on seasons and cities of departure. Upon request, Princeton Travelers will help participants arrange air tickets. | |
