Description:
| This program is designed to provide students the immense advantage of studying British literature at its source as well as learning about the authors and the places where they lived and wrote. Three courses are planned at Brighton, England, and at Edinburgh, Scotland, with additional visits to London, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Lake District, and the Scottish Highlands. We will also take field trips to nearby literary and historical sites and tour many other important locations such as Cambridge, Canterbury, Oxford, Stonehenge, and St. Andrews. Classroom study will be supplemented with field trips to authors' homes, museums, libraries, and theatres, as well as visits to many additional sites of great historic and cultural value. Opportunity for a few days of free travel will also be included in the schedule. | |
