Description:
| Students earn valuable academic credit and international experience while immersed in a small community, performing meaningful development work, and exploring the cultural and historical richness of Peru. Through the Semester in Peru Program each student is actively involved in a group or individual development project throughout the semester. The dual focus of academic and development work enable tremendous growth experiences for all program participants. In addition to experiential classes and development work, adventures to Machu Picchu, the Amazon Jungle, and other sites of interest are a significant portion of the educational experience. All programs include airfare to and from Peru, full room and board, full funding of development projects or internships, and trips to Machu Picchu or the Amazon Rainforest. | |
