Description:
| •Pre-trip individualized orientation, airport pick-up in San José, three week home stay and two meals a day with Costa Rican families selected by Centro Cultural, who will speak Spanish to the student during the stay.
•Assessment and thirty hours of instruction in Spanish language and literature, usually morning classes, tailored to individual levels. Centro Cultural Costarricense-Norteamericano (CCCN) is a non-profit language and cultural exchange institution with the U.S. run by Costa Ricans, in operation since 1945.
•Group excursions, usually afternoons, to museums, architectural, business, ecological and agricultural sites. One of the world's most biologically diverse regions.
•Opportunities to dialogue in English and Spanish with hosts, guides and teachers, about the Costa Rican perspective on globalization and its social, environmental, political, and economic ramifications. | |
