| The CLI Dante Alighieri is a school specialized in teaching Italian language and culture to the foreigners. The school was founded in 1966 and has the authorization of the Italian government. The school is open all year. All our teachers are graduated in literature and language subjects and they are all specialized in teaching Italian as a second language. Our method, direct and grammatical, essentially consists of two parts. The first is the explication and the analysis of the rules and exceptions of Italian grammar, and the second consists of the application and the use of these rules in the spoken and written language in various contexts. Students can choose either individual courses or group courses. In individual courses, the teaching methods are customized to each student’s needs. In group courses, the programme is offered at various levels, from Beginners to Advanced courses and also specific courses for people who want to teach Italian abroad. Groups are made up of no more than 12 students. Each month cultural and social events are arranged to which all students are welcome; also outside lesson hours, guided tours of the city are organised, led by the history of art teacher. The school is happy to help students find accommodation with Italian families or in flats with other students. Accommodation should be booked 4 to 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the course. | |
