| IES Adelaide students directly enroll in the University of Adelaide, a prestigious university with degrees recognized as equivalent to those of Oxford and Cambridge, with course offerings in over 60 disciplines. Rigorous university studies are complemented with stimulating field study opportunities enabling students to further explore the fascinating differences between the United States and Australia. A week-long field trip to the rugged Outback is a highlight of the program and contrasts sharply with the modern, coastal city of Adelaide, where all the advantages of cosmopolitan living are within easy walking distance. Beautiful in its own right, Adelaide is located near breathtaking beaches and numerous other travel destinations, such as Kangaroo Island, and offers easy access to the Outback. Approximately thirty students enroll in the program each semester. | |
